General Mobile DSTL1 for June
Mobilewhack.com
The last we heard, General Mobile was planning a third quarter release for its dual-SIM Android handset, the DSTL1. Well, it looks like they want to cut it real close to that date and have settled on releasing the device by the “end of June,” a few days before Q3 kicks in. We already know that it’s going to be one heck of a fast smartphone with its Marvel PA 624MHz processor but what we didn’t know was that it will run Android Cupcake 1.5 instead of the older version. The DSTL1 will initally be released in the USA and Turkey by the end of June at a price anywhere between $550 to $750, with Russia and Germany next in line to get the device. With its hefty asking price, the omission of 3G will definitely be a dealbreaker, but we will have to wait and see about that.
