Intel Got a Fine from the European Commission. Just $1.45 Billion…

Guess how much will Intel have to pay to the European Commission in fine for violating antitrust laws? Oh wait, I just told you dind’t I? Well how about that then? Intel will have to pay $1.45 billion after giving rebates to PC makers buying Intel chips while asking them to drop the chips from the competition. I guess AMD is unofficially very happy about the whole predicament. Undoubtedly Intel will appeal the decision but in the end it will surely have to pay an impressive fine.
